I have made two designs for Filcolana’s spring collection. The first one – the Morgenfryd shawl – has just gone online on Filcolana’s webpage. You can find it for free here (at the moment the pattern is available in Danish and English, but it will soon be made available in German as well). Once again I have to thank Nanna for taking such beautiful pictures (and for letting me use them here as well).
Morgenfryd er inspireret af den fine forårsfarve i garnet, de spirende planter og forårsblomster og lysets tiltagende kraft i forårsmorgenerne. I foråret kan det pludselig komme på tale bare at have et sjal om sig – et stort sjal.
Morgenfryd (litteral translation morning joy) is inspired by the pretty spring coloured yarn, the shoots of plants and growing flowers, and the increasing light of spring mornings. You might even venture out into a spring morning with just a shawl around you – a big shawl.
